“It’s Not About Us - It’s About You & Your Peers…

“Like you, they know their business inside & out…
They live it every day. They’ve been there…
And each knows exactly what they’re talking about.”

Why Business Owners Are Eager To Join Their Own Real_Peers Groups…

Real_Peers members are determined to grow their business.

If you believe that there is always more than one way to achieve a goal, then you should consider joining with others who are determined to achieve and maintain similar success.

If you agree that there are always multiple ways to get the same job done, then you should consider what works best for others in your industry and consider adapting certain methods and best practices that have proven effective.

Who’s Behind The Real_Peers Business Advisory Model?

The Founders of Real_Peers:

The evolution of “mastermind” and “peer advisory groups” from the traditional “no like businesses or competitors within the same group” model to the revolutionary concept of placing “only owners of like businesses from the same industry”  resulted from an experienced business consultant’s efforts to enhance, improve and grow the business of a professional “peer advisory group” facilitator.

The consultant, himself a business owner and entrepreneur, questioned the logic of the entire peer advisory group industry.

Yes, peer advisory groups are comprised of business owners that can discuss general business issues common to each and offer advice and support based on their own individual experience, but when push comes to shove, there is no solid basis of commonality relating to the specific nature of each member’s enterprise.

Other than generalized support, what specific, functional benefits can the owner of a privately held manufacturing operation offer the owner of a retail chain with stock holders and a Board of Directors? What does a home builder or owner of a home improvement company know that can make an immediate impact to someone owning the largest recreational vehicle dealership – even if they are the largest in the state.

When the heart of your business skips a beat… you need a heart specialist, not a dentist or a general practioner.

Where’s the cutting edge and the real value? If it’s time to cut costs, who better to advise you as to how to minimize the impact - someone who knows your business inside and out and may have dealt with the same identical issue in the past, or another business owner that’s been forced to trim a budget containing line items that are worlds apart from your own?

The founders of Real_Peers recognized the power and potential of a group consisting of true peers.

Geographic diversity eliminated the need for excluding potential competitors.

The traditional models, based on the premise of the need for confidentiality (due to potential rivalries and wariness of possible disclosure of sensitive information regarding hiring, training, pricing, market positioning and sales & marketing efforts) have been turned upside down and marginalized by the quality of advice and assistance shared among our group members combined with the convenience and surety inherent to the Real_Peers system.

The Coordinators at Real_Peers:

Each coordinator is an experienced business professional. Initially, these carefully selected individuals will help you and the members of your industry group select a day and time that works best for the majority of your group members.

  • Once your group’s regular meeting time is established, your coordinator will contact each group member by email providing a link to the exact web location for your bi-weekly meeting.
  • Your coordinator will join your group’s videoconference and insure that the focus remains on your current agenda and that the timeframes allotted to each member are followed.
  • Your group’s agenda will evolve based on your needs and input from the group.  The coordinator will help you plan sessions, set and adjust goals using first-hand information provided by each group member.Your coordinator will contact you by phone shortly after each meeting to insure that your needs are being met, and to ask for your ideas regarding the status of current agenda items and to include meeting points that are most important to you.
  • If any group member is faced with a business-critical situation, your coordinator will inform other group members of that member’s need for additional assistance and work to adjust the group’s agenda accordingly.
  • Once your group launches, your Real_Peers coordinator will be permanently assigned. During group sessions, the coordinator will perform a secondary role allowing the group members to create their own milieu.
  • So that our company can best insure the value and quality of the assistance provided by your assigned coordinator, we will ask that you respond to brief, online questionnaires rating and commenting on your Real_Peers experience.
